Celebrating E – Rangoli Competition

Rangoli is a powerful and therapeutic art form that is quiet and
meditative in process, allowing one to find a temporary disconnect with the
relentless hubbub that surrounds our daily lives. Morover, rangoli making has
been an essential part of Diwali celebrations in our counrty. Although Diwali is
a festive of lights, the rangoli colours play a big role in bringing out the festive
spirit during these celebrations. Therefore, Due to corona pandamic we
organized vertual rangoli competition. An e-Rangoli making competiton was
going to be held in the Smt.S.B.Patel Institute of Business Manegement,
Visnagar on the occasion of Diwali.There was no theme for rangoli
competition. The Judge for the event was Dr. Jayshri S. Datta and co-
ordinatores Ms. Honey Patel and Ms. Divya Mistri. We have invited name of
students for the competition from 10 th to 18 th November. Ten students
participated in the competition.Beautiful patterns created on the floor at their
houses using coloured rice,flowers,coloured sand. Keeping up with this thought
,the talent and creativity of the students was well brought out in an e-rangoli
competition. The students put their best forward and took part in the
competition with zest.The Criteria for judgement was the selection of the
design,neatness,clarity, colour combination and creativity or new idea
implementd by the students to make their design more presentable.The result
was announced on 20 th December.From FDM department Moksha got first rank
and from BBA department Khushi got second rank in e-rangoli competition.
