The Smt. S. B. Patel Institute of Business Management (BBA) successfully conducted its Research Day Celebration on August 12th, 2024. The event, titled “Researching the Future of Business – A Student Perspective,” commenced at 10:00 AM and was attended by third-year BBA students and faculty members.

Keynote Address:

The event began with a keynote address by Mr. Mitesh Thakor, who emphasized the importance of research in business management and the role it plays in shaping the future of the industry.

Discussion Points:

How to Select a Title for a Research Topic:

The session began with a discussion of the importance of selecting a compelling and relevant title for research topics. Students were guided on how to choose titles that reflect the essence of their research, capture attention, and align with their research objectives.

 

Introduction to Research:

The basics of research were introduced, focusing on clearly defining research questions and objectives. The introduction also emphasized the role of research in business management and how it contributes to the broader field.
